While working as a ceramist for an American decorative arts company, I was sent to Nove, Italy to study ceramic design and tile mural techniques. On my trip, I fell in love with the frescos and the warm color washes in the Italian homes. When I returned to the states, I began experimenting on the walls of the business I worked for and became immediately sought after by the local community as a faux finisher and mural painting naturally followed.

I have attending many classes on faux finishing, both domestic and abroad. I am also a licensed art teacher in both the state of Florida and now my new home, Texas.
